What is PsychShift?

"Psych" is the root word for psychology, which is the study of the mind.

In Greek, the word is "psyche," and in English the word is shortened to "psych."

The most common use of "psych" is found in the phrase, "psych myself up," which means to mentally prepare oneself for a task.

By the phrase's own meaning, we are changing our own mindset when we psych ourselves up.
